We work with all of the herding breeds, conducting instinct tests and
lessons. After we put some basic ground rules on your dog during the
first few weeks, we then work with you and your dog together, so that
you, as the handler, learn how to work your own dog. Students
generally come once a week for lessons, and you can expect to be here
for about an hour and a half to two hours each lesson. We have a small
pen for the beginning dog and handler, a large grass arena for the
intermediate team and for arena-trial practice, and a 20 acre open
field for field work. Lessons are available any day of the week.
